Dotted Tips

Sorry that I couldn't really post too much this week or last. I've had a pile of homework and I'm in the middle of working out plans to join Ultimate Frisbee (yes it's actually a sport). So anyways, I had a bit of time last night to do a quick new design. I thought that this was so cute and super easy to do.

Alice In Wonderland Nails

Hooray! There's another contest on instagram and the theme for this one is: movies! I was so excited when I saw this because I had a great excuse to finally do these Alice In Wonderland nails. This is one of my favourite movies and I was so happy doing these nails. I'm especially proud of the caterpillar on my left index finger, he was hard to do but totally worth it.

Easter Nails & Plaid

Sorry for the late post, I had to go visit family for the Easter weekend and I didn't get a chance to post anything. So to make up for my absence, two designs!

First up: Easter Nails. I didn't have a whole lot of time to do these so I just did a simple scene with eggs and little chicks (I know, they look awkward).

Colours used (excluding base & top): Sally Hanson Xtreme Wear - "Mint Sorbet", "Lacey Lilac", "Green With Envy". Sally Hanson Hard As Nails - "White Tip". Avon - "Sunshine". Witchcraft Nail Art " Sky Blue".

The second design is: Plaid! I've wanted to do plaid for a while and when I had no other design to do I figured I'd do this. I like the little bit of shimmer from the silver compared to the other non-shimmer polishes.

YTF Pride Nails!

So I was on Instagram and I found out that YTF (Ryan Higa, KevJuma, Chester See, Andrew Garcia, JR Aquino, Victor King and D-Trix) has an account just for fan pics. When I looked at some of the pictures there were nail designs but...let's just say most just used a marker. So I've decided to show MY YTF pride and what better way than with a nail design (since that's all I can do). Unfortunately, JR's name was really hard to write so his name is a bit squished.

Feather Nails

Hey! So there's two reasons for this design. One: I had an Aboriginal Studies Test today and I thought it would give me a boost of luck. Two: There's a contest on Instagram and the theme is nature. I instantly thought of feathers when I saw nature so yeah. I might do something else though, I still have time to decide.

Jpop: Kyary Pamu Pamu " Ponponpon"

Here's a new addition to my blog: Jpop designs!

I've been wanting to do Jpop designs too but the videos that I've seen don't seem to stand out as much to me. I don't know why but Kpop just seems to have more focal points in videos whereas Jpop seems to have more stories and dance scenes (which is not bad at all). So when I found this video a couple of months ago I knew this would be the inspiration for my first Jpop nails.

Here's another Kpop design! I had this design in my head for a while but other designs always popped up. I'm super happy about the design but I'm super mad that my camera still SUCKS!
